Dr. Jennifer Dean built her practice from scratch. She chose Open Dental because it was the best clinical system available. But she quickly realized it couldn't do everything her practice needed — the patient communications were manual, the scheduling gaps were endless, and the payments were a mess to reconcile.
She and her husband Brennon Dean started building solutions for their own practice. Small automations. Smarter scheduling. Payments that actually work with Open Dental's data instead of alongside it. The results were immediate.
Other Open Dental practices started asking how they did it. Flex was born. Not in a boardroom — in a real dental practice, solving real problems that the team lived every day.
